The Stykers came to me with a very challenging lot, the lot was very long and narrow at the street. The best view wass out the side of the house towards the lake.
In addition we had some significant topography sloping from side to side.
The design solution was to locate the house along as much of the same topography as possible with the public areas of the house rotating around the foyer.
