John Davis came to me with unique
challenge. Design a speculative house around a 20" Live Oak, yet retain
the features that upscale Austin home buyers have come to expect.
We designed a home with a courtyard theme, the drive and entry area
acting as the courtyard.
We incorporated a tower as the entry to draw visitors into the home, and with both the great room and the study facing the courtyard the homeowners are able to enjoy this majestic tree. .
