The Builder, Joseph Fowler, wanted
to design an open floor plan that took advantage of the views of the
green belt in the rear of the lot. The view was at a slight angle from
the lot, so to maximize the view a covered porch that was segmented
made the most sense on a narrow lot.
The game room and its covered porch have a great view of the green
belt. The home was to be built on a cul-de-sac with five other narrow
lot homes. A Tuscan stucco and stone elevation was in keeping with the
neighborhood, but was unique and elegant.
The plan
won the 2003 Silver Max Award for Best Product Design - Custom
$250,001- $350,000.
