Amy + Aden Lasseter came to me with a great lot off of Flint Rock near Lakeway. The lot has great unobstructed views down a canyon and of an undeveloped hill. Aden Lasseter wanted the game room to have the primary view down the canyon, while the great room has a view of the hills. Overall every major room has a great view.
The topography of the lot was a little challenging in that the builder area was very narrow. In addition, the Lassiter's liked a Porte cochere and a Mediterranean or Tuscan look. The design abounds with features that include a wet bar, a vaulted ceiling in the game room, a really large great room, his and hers vanities, his and hers walk-in closets and a nice walk-in shower.
Amy + Aden have since lived in two other houses that I designed, one bought on the resale market and one designed for them on Lake Austin.
