Luxury builder, Hill Castle Homes,
came to me with the opportunity to design a home for the 2005 Women's
Austin Symphony League Showcase, in Spanish Oaks.
Spanish Oaks is a unique community, and we wanted the thome to be a reflection of this. This Tuscan style home is designed around a number of oak trees, taking advantage of the views, yet still creating private outodoor living spaces.
In every home we create, we try to create a little drama, a little uniqueness. This home's three towers appear to grow out of the Texas landscape like majestic oaks. The staggered brick of the old-world entry invite visitors to discover the charm and modern ammenities of the home.
A huge under-stairs pantry and beautiful butler pantry are popular features to grace the inside of the home, and a porte cochere adds an elegant touch to the exterior of this home.
