Photographer John Rogers and his wife, Beverley, chose me to design their custom home on the Blanco River.
It was very sobering to see the damage that had occured on the river in the 2015 floods. Although this property did not sustain damage the water came within a few feet of where the Rogers wanted to place the home.
John and Beverley loved our personal house and wanted us to utilize it as the design vision, albeit on a simpler and smaller scale.
We are very excited that this is our first project with Steve Zbranek and Tony Holt.
Elliot's design for our home exceeded all our expectations.
We honestly were amazed how he got it right from the very first sketch.
Not only did he create a wonderful green living space that checked all our boxes, he was careful to incorporate the home into the natural landscape so it truly fits with the surrounding trees and geography maximising our views from our home.
Meanwhile, and most importantly, he made sure he was designing something that actually could be (and was) built within our predetermined budget.
We are only a couple of weeks from moving into our new home and we couldn't be any happier.
Elliot, thank you for making our dream come true.
