This project is an extensive remodel of the interior and exterior of this 1980s home. The home had been added onto several times, and was in need of an update.
Through each phase of the project I utilized 3D models to help the client visualize the changes and make informed decisions, avoiding potentially costly change orders during construction.
The remodel included;
- Kitchen
- Interior Stairs
- Outdoor Living
- Outdoor Kitchen
- Overall Exterior Street Appeal
- Second Floor Covered Balcony
- Master Bedroom Closet Addition
The interior remodel included a completely new utility room, bar, powder bath. Completely new kitchen, butler pantry. We removed walls to open the dining area to the living area.
We spent extensive time studying the interior stair case, including sketching reversing the stair to open the living to the kitchen area.
We raised the ceiling from 8ft to 10ft in the primary bedroom, and the closet addition was huge, a dream closet for any clothes horse, including ample shoe storage, display spaces for purses and gowns, a makeup space as well as a huge amount of clothes hanging space.
The exterior of the home was dated, we studied doing a slurry finish over the brick, painting the brick, and potentially stuccoing the entire exterior. In addition the entry was dated, we did 3D models of the exterior with multiple option for the entry.
We added a convienient outdoor kitchen area as well as unifying and expanding the outdoor living. As well as a secure and covered outdoor small pet area.
Upstairs we covered the upper balcony for weather protection and improved the front bedroom bathroom.
